Light allows us to see color. Color is fleeting, changing, and the speed of painting allows us to see it in all its exclusivity. Every day, every hour, every moment, transform the color. There are never two identical moments or two identical days, which is why the landscape requires learning through color notes and quick sketches. Painting outdoors requires a certain passion and infatuation with what comes to our eyes. Nevertheless, as Sorolla would say, we will never fully capture everything we see, with its wonderful harmony.
